Our 1st Annual "Put a Little Love In Your Life" Tennis Tournament, benefiting PAWS Shelter and Humane Society, was a huge success. With only three months to prepare we raised $1,280.00. The entire entry fee of $35 plus the money raised from the silent auction items went directly to the shelter.
Thank you to Randalls for donating $25 in gift cards, H.E.B for also donating $30 in gift cards, and Academy for donating 13 cans of tennis balls. Thank you to Yonex and Maggie Yanez for donating the silent auction items. Thank you to everybody who played and chipped in extra money, time, and effort to make this event a success.
Also, thank you to Christine and Daryn Watson. Christine and I Co-Directed the tournament. Christine and Daryn made a significant financial contribution as well as picked up the tab for the prizes for all of the 1st place winners. Me . . . well . . . I just went and helped pick out the prizes at Academy!
